By accessing or using GlucoBloom (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the App.

2. Not a Medical Device — Important

GlucoBloom is not a medical device and is not approved, cleared, or certified by the FDA, Health Canada, CE (EU), or any other regulatory body as a medical device or diagnostic tool.

The App is intended solely as:

• A personal tracking and logging tool
• A source of general educational information about gestational diabetes
• A convenience tool for organizing health data to share with your care team

Always consult your doctor, midwife, obstetrician, or certified diabetes educator for medical decisions. Do not use information in this App to adjust insulin doses, medication, or dietary treatment without professional guidance.

3. No Medical Advice or Doctor-Patient Relationship

Nothing in this App constitutes medical advice, and no doctor-patient relationship is established by using GlucoBloom. The glucose targets, dietary guidance, and educational content are based on publicly available clinical guidelines and are provided for general informational purposes only. Your individual circumstances may differ; your healthcare provider is the appropriate source of personalized medical advice.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GlucoBloom and its creator(s) shall not be liable for:

• Any medical decisions or outcomes resulting from use of information in the App
• Loss of data stored in browser localStorage (e.g., if you clear your browser)
• Inaccuracies in food database nutritional information
• App unavailability, bugs, or errors
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App

Your use of the App is at your own risk. The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

5. Intellectual Property & Content

All original content in GlucoBloom — including but not limited to the App design, user interface, written descriptions, food database curation, meal plan structure, educational summaries, and software code — is the intellectual property of GlucoBloom and is protected by copyright law.

Educational content has been independently researched and written based on publicly available clinical guidelines from international organizations including the American Diabetes Association (ADA), the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), Diabetes Canada, and the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC). Our original presentation, structure, and expression of this information is our own copyrighted work.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any content in this App without our prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial use (e.g., saving a report for your doctor) is permitted.

6. Permitted Use

You may use GlucoBloom for:

• Personal, non-commercial health tracking
• Generating reports to share with your healthcare team
• Learning about gestational diabetes management

You may not:

• Use the App for any commercial purpose without written permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the App's content or code
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Changes to the App

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
